Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is famous for his role on the popular TV show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. While in college, he started to pursue a passion for acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. While he was active on TV and film, his roles on small screens were what earned him popularity. The ability of his characters to appear in both legal and non-legal settings has captured the attention of the public. When he first appeared on television, for his debut show, he was a serial murderer. Then, he played the role of an NYPD detective. The actor has been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his smaller screen appearances. Eyes that are piercing blue on his eyes are thought as the most captivating characteristic. They have been utilized to portray rough characters and give them charisma. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured him.
